(Besides slowdown in the known problem spots like The Strip and the Villa. All I can say to that is I played a full campaign at 90fps and didn't have any perceivable issues related to the increased framerate/timing. Dialogues were also fixed with some lip sync treatment which is always very nice little touch that adds immersion for mods like this. (And it still looks and feels better than 60.)Īdditionally, this can theoretically cause Script issues and other bugs. There is a mod which changes Codsworth into a human and as a bonus you have a holotape which allows you to change him from robot to human and vice versa as well as change his human appearance. Realistically you wouldn't want to go beyond 75 (fmaxtime=0.133), so when your framerate inevitably drops, slow-down will be at a minimum since modern systems will rarely drop below 50-55fps in Vanilla situations. The absolute highest I would go is 90fps (fmaxtime=0.111). You are extremely unlikely to get a consistent framerate above 60 though, and will end up dealing with the Slow-Motion that occurs when you drop too far below your target. You can modify Fmaxtime in the ini to set the game's pace at a rate in time with your target framerate. Capping the framerate is the only option, but it doesn't necessarily have to be to 60.
